Pneumococcal conjugate (PCV)
Indications
Invasive pneumococcal disease prevention in infants and young children.
Doses
- Dose 1: 2–3 months (schedule-dependent)
- Dose 2: 4 weeks minimum interval
- Dose 3: Primary series completion
- Dose 4: 12-month booster (many programmes)
Contraindications
- Anaphylaxis to previous dose or vaccine component
